4th of July Table Decoration

whole project 4th_edited-1
Are you getting ready to celebrate the Fourth of July and the beginning of summer fun?  I made this fun jar full of red, white and blue jelly beans and used some lovely twine to decorate the sticks for my pinwheels as well as around my jar.  The Twinery has fabulous colors and I love the mix of red, white and blue in this Firecracker twine.  Be sure to pick up some to use on your fun, patriotic projects.

Here is a close of up of my pinwheels.  They are so easy to make and so much fun.  I made three different size squares and then but from each corner into the center, but not all the way to the middle.  I used a glue dot to get the points to adhere and then glued the button with the twine to the center of the pinwheels.  If you want your pinwheels to spin, you  need to use a brad and I would suggest a paper straw which you can poke the brad through and adhere it to the straw.  I would love to see your pinwheels.

Happy 4th of July.
